William Greer

William started part-time consulting to help political campaigns with electoral strategy, campaign literature and communication, community outreach, digital marketing and online media presence to promote candidates. As a young queer candidate for office in rural Vermont, Greer has experience with mobilizing across jurisdictions of various sizes and complex relationship networks.

Greer ran for county office at 19 years old and received 48.8% of the vote in the Democratic Primary. He went on to be elected as a Justice of the Peace and appointed as Vice Chair of the Community Policing Advisory Review Board in the Town of Bennington.

He also has deep connect and affiliation with the Vermont Democratic Party. Serving as Secretary of the Party, Greer currently serves as the youngest elected state party leader in the country.

In addition to running for public office, Greer works with the Victory Fund, a nonprofit LGBTQ+ candidate resource center, as a board member of the Vermont Chapter. Moreover, he works closely with his family’s business, Title Run, based in South Texas.

Greer is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from Bennington College in Bennington, Vermont where he resides.
