VOTE TODAY IN VERMONT!
It doesn't matter who you vote for—it matters that you vote! And it shouldn't be hard to find how/when/where to vote in Vermont.
EARLY VOTE IN-PERSON
You can go to your Town Clerk's office and fill out a ballot on the spot! Contact your Town Clerk to make sure they have the resources & what times they're able to assist you with voting (you can do this 45 days before the primary election!)
EARLY VOTE VIA ABSENTEE/MAIL-IN BALLOT
You can request a ballot from the Secretary of State's office without an excuse. It's easy and accessible through the link below.
NOTE: In Vermont, universal mail-in ballots are ONLY for general elections in November, so you must request an absentee ballot for primary & town elections.
IN-PERSON VOTING
If you're like me and want to vote in-person for the primary election, you will wait for August 9th to go to your local polling location! Voting in-person can be tricky sometimes, so here's simple guide to know your rights:

(a) you can register to vote on election day (i.e. same-day registration in Vermont is relatively new, but your election administrators have registration forms);

(b) you have until 7:00pm EST to vote in Vermont this primary election;

(c) once you are in line to vote before 7:00pm EST, election administrators are required to let you cast a ballot—no matter how long it may take.
